Tents full of happiness and love ft. Bodhi and friends

Yeah, I thought so. Shipping is flat rate now, $25.00. No sales tax here is nice too!

I’ll have to catch up over there, it’s been awhile since I visited his channel. I definitely believe the more red helps with stretch and produces larger flowers. I guess there was a reason HPS worked so well for many years. Just super inefficient. I think they’re also finding UV can be harmful in some ways?

Thanks friend! Yeah I agree, no stopping nanners, some plants just can’t decide what they wanna be. I still have my trusty mag ballast HPS for backup

I’ve found pumice at Ace hardware, home depot etc. in the garden sections.

Pumice aka lava rocks or lava gravel. Pet stores also sell it for fish aquariums and lizard terariums. Great to add drainage to soil but it’s heavy. I get the white kind for succulant (and ganja) soils.

I read the naturally red-colored “decorative” pumice may have too much iron in it for cannabis soil. I’m not sure about the black-colored pumice.

Yeah, I found a place near me last year that sells pumice, so one less thing I have to search all around for.

I hope everyone had a great holiday here in the US… I ate and drank my fair share :poultry_leg:

Congratulations to Germany for seeing the light and legalizing!

My Timber Cypress got here faster than expected, just about a week. I slapped it together and did a burn in test for about 30 minutes. It is super bright, really can’t capture the brightness in the photos. It also about 20 pounds lighter than my other Timber, which is nice, because it is around 40 something pounds. Nice that it is dimmable to 10%, I have a feeling I’m going to need to turn it down, haha.

Excited to do a run with it and see how it goes.

Everything in the 4x4 is doing pretty good. I think the smaller containers are starting to run out of juice already, the plants in those containers look a little bit paler green to me. I went ahead and gave them another top dress of compost, ewc, bokashi, craft blend, and watered in with build a bloom. We’ll see what happens with them. I figured the smaller ones may have some issues. The big ones are trucking along though, nice healthy deep green leaves still. I may go ahead and top dress in the middle of nice week, even though everything looks good, I want to make sure they have enough to finish. They’re starting to get stinky, finally installed the carbon filter. Also putting out a lot of humidity.

For those who run dehumidifiers, are they more efficient when they are mounted higher or lower? In commercial grows I always see them mounted to the ceiling, so I am assuming higher is better, but maybe they’re doing it for another reason? I forget what size mine is, but it pulls about 450w, so I’m trying to use it as efficiently as possible. Usually I have it on a timer to cut on right before lights out and runs for a few hours, then off for a few hours and on again until lights on.

Anyways, here is some plants…

GG#4 just keeps on stretching! Not much room for her left. Was getting some windburn, so I moved the fan to the other side of the tent.

Blueberry didn’t quite make it to the screen. Has a spicy smell I can’t put my finger on, I am interested to see how she develops.

T-1000 is starting to get frosty already and ended up stretching more than I thought. I’ve been plucking leave here and there, but still pretty thick through there.

The RudeBoi OG #7 - you can definitely notice the paleness in this shot, compared to the T-1000 next to it… She hasn’t been really happy this whole run, but maybe she’ll surprise and come out stellar.

Everything in the TER F2 tent is shaping up nicely… buds are getting plump and frosty. Sorry for the weird color, they’re finishing on 315w CMH.

Here is the stinky one.

This is what I’m calling the red leaf one… it’s getting some beautiful red coloration only on the underside of the leaves, the others ones aren’t doing that. Don’t mind the nanners…

And this is the HP one… stalk like with little branching. Not gonna yield the best, but dense little nugs and frosty.

This one has been a fun one! I’m gonna start lowering nutes on these girls and get them to finish up. I’ve got a fun project coming up next, but gonna keep it secret for awhile to make sure I can pull it off.

I’ve been popping some other beans in the meantime… I have Blue Dream x C99 coming up in flower and also a CSI Lemon Party fallen soldier that is doing great, I’ll get some photos up soon.

 :peace_symbol:

Man, I dunno if it’s just me or what, but I fucking loooove that one TE plant, the “HP one.” Looking all leafy and shit from above, but the side-shot just got that rail of nugs… I dunno haha! Good-looking plant. Love it.

Yeah it’s definitely one of the more unique looking plants that I’ve grown.

It was the one with the weird leaf growing on top of a leaf and weird leaflets coming out of it. Too bad with all the frost there’s only muted terpenes, slight turpentine and orange mixed with hash. All good though. I’m sure the effect will be interesting as well. Just guessing that this was a ‘Deadly G’ dominate plant, and the Snow Lotus is probably bringing in the purple/red on the other two plants.

Were those the genetics of that Tranquil Elephantizer? “Deadly G” pheno of the 88G13HP crossed with the Snow Lotus? I’d totally forgotten. That one hasn’t been around in so long… I guess I could Google it haha. I really do love that one plant you got growing, the “HP one.” Looks so different than anything I’ve ever grown. Classic hashplant look. I think haha. I mean, I love them all, but that one really does look very different from anything I’ve ever grown. Making me wanna plant some more seeds! Haha.

Yeah, I think the Remix version used the 88g13hp mother and Snow Lotus as the Dad. Here’s what Bodhi said about it long ago…

Tranquil Elephantizer “Remix”

Flowering Time: medium
Outdoor Harvest:
Height: Medium
Characteristics: slow motion love potion

this is a cannabis genetic remix, switching the tranquil
elephantizer parents into opposite positions, using the incredible
heavy duty deadly g pheno of ndnguy’s 1988 g13 hashplant, and the
proven powerhouse snow lotus male, for the ultimate sensual couch
lock experience. this strain is like a smokeable green quaalude,
perfect for getting barreled while couch surfing or down shifting
into long deep love making sessions. i created this strain for some
serious slow motion midnight magik, so take the load off with some
traquil elephantizer, its heavy duty canna love lube… i have a
sneaky feeling these will be even better than the original
, but as
we know… different strokes for different folks, let the heads
decide. this release is a one run wonder, i lost the mother in a
heat wave, she was a truly amazing specimen. picture is of the
mom.

limited!

I could be mistaken but I do believe our very own @Torontoke may of made f2’s of the original.

That’s awesome! I got them from nube, so figured he or someone he knew made 'em.

Overgrow is the best. I got so many Bodhi seeds from friends here that I still need to grow, that I resisted buying some more during this latest drop. I’ve got your Wolfpack F2’s that I want to get to eventually, really like those diesel rank smells. Definitely want to get to the Bubba Kush x SSDD soon too. I’ve really been digging the high of Jack Herer lately, so thinking of grabbing some Lavender Jack before it’s gone.

We’re on the same page, A couple weeks ago, I snagged Kush 4 x SSDD and a Lavender Jack, myself! I’m a sucker for all things Jack Herer- its even in my profile.

Awesome! I get a really motivating, clear headed, creative high from Jack. I think it may pair well with the Wookie… let me know how your grow turns out.

Sp 250 is that by Mars? Had a light go down and had to buy one as replacement due to funds. If so may have a few questions for you :+1:

Yeah man, it’s a Mars Hydro… hit me up.

Yeah man will do probably tomorrow though as in :uk: time. Did you find you got penetration with it cause I’ve had to juggle, pheno hunting can cause height issues

I’ve switched things about but this is now under sp 250

this is a clone though

I think all the strip style LEDs (SP250 included) work best when you can have a flatter canopy. Now on the SP the strips are all too clustered into a small space. If would be better if they were distributed over a wider space. That being said, I’ve successfully done small pheno hunts under my SP in a 2x4ft tent… My Pura Vida grow was all under the SP. Also I did a SCROG of Sunshine Daydream under it and yielded pretty decent. The lowers on some plants are definitely going to suffer with the light pulling only about 200w, so definitely clean up underneath so you’re not dealing with a bunch of larf.

Just don’t contact Mars for support on the light, because you’ll get none… one thing that obviously sucks about the light is the dimmer is on the driver, and the driver is only able to mount dimmer side down, so you can’t access it unless you remove the driver. At least it’s a Meanwell driver… at least my model is.

Where is dimmer? Doubt I’ll need it though lol. My mehzi 1200 broke down, this runs beside a Mars hydro 192 which is same panel but bigger and more white light. Mehzi are now spider farmer was better light and was 1/3 more powerful but leds started blowing. So ended up putting a Mars 2 400 W in too.

I would suggest buying a different light. Mars Hydro is to be avoided due to being generally low quality and not honoring their warranties, as @iamyou_youareme indicated.

For the money, there are a LOT better options, especially in the UK.
