The strongest lemon and pine

I’ve got an idea and want to start collecting towards it. It may have already been done and that is why I’m asking here.

What strains are most known for very strong lemonene terpenes?

What strains are best known for heavy pinene terpenes?

I really want to get some extreme levels of those 2 terpenes specifically. I’m not versed enough yet in what all is out the there to know which strains to start with. And if I go to seed seller sites of course every strain will have the thing I want whether it’s in there at .01% or 90%.

So what do you all think has anyone made a strain that leans to the extreme in either of those profiles? Or do you have a recommendation for strains to start with?

Lemon g is over the top lemon terps!!! Ive never been much of a fan of lemon strains, but the Lemon G is incredible in taste, effect, and yield.

Super Lemon Haze is one that I definitely plan on growing soon. I truly love that smoke. One of my favorites and great lemon taste without being overpowering.
When I do pay for weed, Super Lemon Haze is one I try to find. Only reason I havent grown yet is waiting to get a bit better skills as a grower. Im still new, and its supposed to be medium difficulty, I’d like a few grows under my belt for that one.
Its supposed to be decent THC% and good yields as well.

Great! Time to start reading up on it. Looks like there’s some growlogs I can look at for lemon g. Thank you!

you are looking for medical side of terpenes or want to feel the taste of them more?

That sounds like one I’m interested in. Haze is always nice to me.

It’s more of a medicinal effect with those terpenes for me. I don’t use marijauna as medicine but have found that those two profiles tend to leave me with elevated mood and attitude for a period of time where as some of the other strains tend to leave me feeling a little down over extended periods of use.

I just started smoking when virginia went legal, and the company I work for was ok with it at that point. So my experience is very limited high-school and then 23 years later or so.

both limonene and pinene are used for anxiety and depression so maybe it is a point. Super lemon haze is high in terpinolene. So i recommend searching strains that are good for stress relief, anxiety or depression. Also lemon g mentioned earlier is high in that limonene terpene.
Hope that helps
Peace.

Apparently my search capabilities suck. Can you tell me who breeds the Lemon G, or where the genetics are available?

The like is not for losing your mother plant. That’s heartbreaking! I’ll have to keep an eye out for that strain though!

You might want to check out the work @OriginalDankmaster96 currently has going on over in this thread!

It’s a clone only from the Ohio area, your best bet is crosses or tracking down some S1. I have some S1 that I think are from Organix Genetics or something like that.

Lemon tree, Limoncello, Amnesia Lemon, and anything with Lemon Skunk are good choices as well.

For pine keep an eye out for Jack Herer, Pinesoul/Goji Og, Pinetar Kush, Tahoe OG, Trainwreck

The F1’s from the Blueberry Diesel @anonymous4289 were coming up with some excellent lemon pheno’s I’m sure more than a few people can confirm this that grew it out.

Also the Black Cherry from @stanknugzz77 was seriously lemon heavy. More of a lemony zest terpene profile but it was excellent. I just had a buddy finish up a run of the F2’s I made locally and its just an unreal smell of lemon and gas. Which is probably why I’m doing a small pheno hunt right now.

This is an awesome idea for a thread :+1:

Lemon scented strains have long been among my favorites :lemon: and the pine / woodsy scented strains always do me good for relaxation :evergreen_tree:

Keep in mind that the lemon strains may have very high amounts of some terpenes compared to the amount of limonene. Lots of distinctly lemon-smelling strains will have Ocimene, Terpineolene, etc in even higher amounts than their Linonene content yet the lemon aroma is still what stands out the most in the bouquet. SLH is one major example of this. For years I have been purchasing SLH in med dispensaries and limonene is usually the #3 terpene or even lower. No matter what though SLH never fails to make me one happyass frog!

Peace :frog:
