Vietnamese x Columbian x Afghani F3 line work

Fresh pics from last nite @DietPeps

There has been a change in the leaf shapes and they have elongated. The wrinkles may have flattened-out but there is some damage to the edges it seems
Zamaldelica is here below, day 16

Russian Tzar Bomba is seeing the same results below

Here is the fist, unrolled and aimed at you

Sweet! It probably needs to be dialed in to work perfectly, but I definitely take this as evidence that seaweed has some effect.

In the vca, I find the crinkly ones to be especially potent. (Although I’ve been smoking a non-crinkly one lately, and it has the same magic effects.)

Hey I’ll keep you posted Bud. The RTB seems to be shrugging it off nicely.

Might try the seaweed in a week or so again…

Good Luck

Check out this Potcast with Matt Riot, he talks about the origins of Clockwork Orange from 15:45 and talks about how he loved the strain but it had an ugly crinkle to the leaves. When he bred the crinkle out it lost potency, so he had to backtrack and keep it. He even said he felt the origins may be Afghani.

Zamaldelica below is pulling right through this wrinkled-leaf ailment. New growth is solid and intact

Tzar Bomba looks great as well @DietPeps, left leaf was the clenched fist. Center-line is a little off… but my nose is crooked, so alls good

Thanks for the info on the Seaweed

@MissinBissin that is so cool! Glad it is working out for you! With my plants, one application is all they ever need, and all growth is fine afterwards.

Not much of an update, but all six are poking thru their rapid rooters. The recently found stash of F2’s seem 100% viable still.

All six are up. Only have space for one all-purpose light in my garage right now, so not vegging totally properly, but fine for future outdoor seed plants. (Load em up with silica lol)

The interesting thing is one of the #3’s has come up with purple starter leaves. Never noticed that in this line before, and I’ve grown 20 or so. Not to say it’s never happened before, just never noticed. I’m hoping this plant is a female, so I can have it as a distinct seed line.

The purple is in the front (bottom) of the first pic.

For accuracy’s sake, the purple leaves are from #1, not #3.

Moved them to 3-4” pots (whatever was lying around)

The #3’s at the bottom seem to be more vigorous, wide, and stout, while the #1’s are more stretchy and narrow-leafed. I might just take both lines forward, to get more seed.

Keep in mind that I’m an outdoor grower, but these are under a light in a cabinet—not ideal.

Took this picture yesterday. We may have crinkle leaf coming up in the first set of real leaves on the lower left plant. If you zoom in, you can see. Looks even more crinkly this morning. (The crinkle leaf usually goes with extra heady effects in these seeds, I’ve found.)

Beautiful pictures! Similar structure to these plants. I’m a big fan of Vietnamese Black. Have you been preserving that line?

It is my intent, unfortunately my brace of males was mowed down by a gopher last season. I have 5 left to try.
