That was a pretty awesome 2+ hours!

He changed out the wall switch for the Classroom lights. I have lights! woohoo He brought the wrong one, though. It’s a 3-way switch with a dimmer, which I understand requires a particular type of switch.

He’s bringing the correct one with him when he comes back to do the work we just spent 2+ hours discussing.

We went over everything from under the floor to in to the attic to putting the Dust Collector out that back window and him wiring an outlet for it in the soffit out there.

3 or 4 circuits will be going in - whatever is determined to be needed. I have to send him the load information. Converting shared circuits to dedicated circuits (Dust Collector - which we’ll future-proof as I want to put it outdoors).

And, he’s putting in at least one dedicated 240V in the Loft for the remote ballast. I have to buy the “Accessory” cord for it tonight.

We even talked about moving the light switch I had him install in the attic before I knew where the attic ladder I installed was going.

And, I put it in his mind that we need to upgrade the electrical in the garage…at some point in the future.

Overall, a very productive couple of hours! woohoo

Okay, I have some things I need to get done before he returns.

He’s coming back at his earliest convenience, which he indicated might be as soon as the next day or two. woohoo

I have a question I hope one or all of you can answer, please.

I have to exhaust the A/C and the Extraction Fan.

Can I run them both through this with the AC Infinity T6 in the attic?..

All 6 inch.

Thank you all or one in advance. winky

Imma rollitup and destress for a minute!

Join me 48?

Edit Add: A more accurate question with that wye mounted on the exterior wall…

Can I run Hot A/C Exhaust with an Extraction Fan on the same circuit. I don’t recall dealing with that in my past

Dang.

My electrician is putting in a 240V outlet in the Loft for me.

I told him I’d have the “Accessory” 240V cord by the time he got the work done.

Then I realized I don’t have a 240V Timer.

Then, finding one has been a right pain! Several of the timers I would have chosen were not available for one reason or another. Discontinued, Out of Stock…etc. ‘Maybe’ Supply Chain Issues?

I just bought these…“Accessory” 240V cord, 240V Timer (I really didn’t want “digital” after reading reasons against them), the 6x6x6 Wye, and another 6 inch by 25 foot section ducting (I have one just like it in the attic already).

.

I’ve mounted the air pump…Instead of running 6 new air lines, I ran 1.fly2

…IF it requires further isolation I’ll consider suspending it from springs.

I’m not waiting up for the next feeding to babysit the air pump. I hope to be aslumber! Whistle

I think I have a plan for running the exhaust(S), will require minor framing, like what I did with the Doran Dark Room Light Blockers.

So, I ‘think’ exhaust is next.

Then the door, the wooden one.

The Res was sitting at around 64F, without the door in place. I did rotate the A/C unit last night when I saw the Res temps were higher than is desired. It dropped the temps that much even though the A/C is across the room and there is a wide open gap in the wall in between it and the Res! tup

At canopy level it’s 64.5F - with LEDs.

Good morning everyone!

Make it a great day! rockon

Oh, I do have pictures of all the Girls, above the roots and then that plant’s actual roots sequentially.

I forgot - I told the electrician I’d get all the amperages so we can calculate loads.

I can’t find the amperage for the AC Infinity T6 fan. I emailed them. Waiting.

The Inofia Dehumidifier doesn’t list any of its data. It does include a schematic on its body behind the drain pan.

Then I found one that was hard to find I took a screenshot of it but I didn’t write down what make and model it was for and know I don’t know what the SPB-213 Amperage of 1.2 goes to! ROFLMAO

Here’s what I do have:

Hisense A/C = 12amps
Inofia Dehumidifier = 11amps
Oscilating Fan = .7amps
Vivosun Air Pump = 1.2amps
Vivosun 3567GPH Pump (Res) = 12amps
AC Infinity T6 = Sent Request For Information From Manufacturer.

I think that only leaves the Vivosun in the Control Bucket. That must be the 1.2 amps I found indirectly - lots of searching. I’m going to pull it out and see if it on it case.

Since I’m NOT aslumber, I might as well run the numbers! ROFLMAO

I’ll be back!

First a rollitup

pH was 6.5. Adjusted it and went too far. Dropped to 4.7 before the Feeding.

I added another not-adjusted 5 gallons of water as it returned to the Res. and it’s up to 5.3 - 5.4.

I expect it to increase a little over the several hours…it has little by little.

Res temps.

I tried to post the Res temps but it says it’s too large. I’m getting this pop-up…

image

In “Properties” for file Garden II Rebuild 0211 04142022 it says that file is 1.71 MB.

Res. temps were 64.7F.

Good morning!

Make it a great day! tup

Edit Forgot: winky, The Air Pump Suspension System (winky) worked awesomely. Again, I would not have heard it unless I was looking to hear it. It’s at almost ear level now and that is the only reason I heard it at all! It is super quiet! tup

pH is back in the zone…

I have to try and get out and mow. The first of the season.

It’s something I have put off because I had something important preempt it.

I don’t recall what it was that redirected me.

Anybody?!?!

I also got a nap in today. That was pretty incredible! Also, I somehow didn’t awake with back pain. It was magnificent! allhail winky

Hello, brother!

Thank you for the link, and for composing the post! Nice!

Excellent review. Excellent product! Thank you!

The electrician asked for amperage loads. Is there a way to convert the Watts to Amps? Electrical is my weak spot.

Might I inquire further? Not to impose. I do have one concern regarding duct lengths…

Well, shorter the better of course… :vulcan_salute:
How long a run were you thinking about?

One factoid that has stuck in my head, 10 feet of sheet-metal duct = 1 foot of flex duct.

Something that is cool about the fan is the motor technology. These fans can push significant air in their lower mid range for relatively little power.
Also, the design can handle back-pressure well. No as good as squirrel-cage but better than standard.

Probably about 22 feet for the longest run, about 16 feet for the other in ‘total lengths’ without plumbing it if I ran them separately…

But, that brings up a previous question. Can I join the Two 6 inch ducts before the T6?

I was thinking I’d could run two short lengths from the space (A/C & Exhaust (room exhaust)) of 6 inch (ducting that came with the A/C units @Oldjoints was so generous to allow me to benefit from them!) to the 6 inch Wye (that’s due in today), then a single 6 inch duct to the intake of the T6 (possibly hard connect between Wye and T6) to intake side then a short exit run to the closest soffit.

Isn’t there a diminishing efficiency just in lengths alone? I mean it won’t draw or it won’t expel IF a certain length? Then whether those lengths are different before or after the T6?

I’ve never run into this quandary that I can recall. I think I always ran them separately or didn’t need to join them.

The A/C Unit has a powered exhaust fan. I’m thinking of joining them because I have it in my head that that A/C Unit probably couldn’t push that much air that distance well.

So the T6 would exhaust the room and the T6 would act as a “inline booster” fan for the A/C…

Man, what’s this crazy conundrum I’ve forced upon you!?!? crazy biggrin

I do have a bunch of metal ducting - all 5 inch facepalm It’s woodworking related that I’m not using here. Some is already up in the attic.

And, yeah, the specifications of the T6 is rather impressive.

In fact, your thread ‘may have’ influenced my purchase. I know I did a BUNCH of reading on them.

THANK YOU so VERY much for engaging in the discussion, my friend! I couldn’t appreciate it more! tup

Yes you can use that wye connector and the T6 will do a fine job as a booster.

The booster should be on when any other fan is on (A/C or room exhaust).
Otherwise there will be some ‘back wash’.

With long runs, you run into ‘high volume’ issues but if you stick to half power or less you can make it work.

First Mow - hours ago now…

Then, does anyone know what these are? They’re in the above image.

There are a couple of instances of them around the property.

This looks like a row of them. There is another that looks like a row. Then odd ones scattered about. They’re rather pretty whatever they are!

Then, I found this on the First Mow…

They were on the pavement side of the property, right on the edge. It’s a spot I couldn’t mow with the last mower or belly mower on the tractor.

I asked my SIL IF they looked familiar. She said they didn’t.

I saw them before I ran over them, luckily!

I’m thinking about pounding in a T-Post right there and hang them from it in an attempt to return them to their owner.

Must be County folks, since it’s not my SIL’s. They historically have "maintain’ that portion.

Okay, I did Laundry after mowing, not my own.

I’m still going to at least try and get the framing for the ducting done before I lay down.

Going to my Sister’s place Saturday to hopefully load up for the last time. My laundry ‘client’ has agreed to help me…to include using my Nephew’s Toyota.

Oh, my sister is telling me there are “Tomato Cages” in the “Barn”. The “Barn” is near the middle of the property.

My car and trailer won’t get there. Well, it ‘may’ get there, it won’t get out! ROFLMAO

One more Tea should get me done for this morning.

Your comment stuck in my head since I read it.

I seriously meant to at least took at rigid 6 inch ducting.

It escaped me…

Dang you, @Gpaw !!!

ROFLMAO

I ‘think’ I need to rejigger things! ROFLMAO

To do it right, that’s what I need to do.

I’ll be in the “City” Monday.

Now I have to include at least three 6 inch elbows.

‘Maybe’ Two Thimbles (or take-offs, whatever they’re called. The rigid part that’s attached to the framing.

Well, I won’t have the Hydrofarm 240V “Accessory” power cord until Monday.

That leaves me just one day maybe a day and a half to finalize the plan.

I think I can still frame it in. Then I’ll loosely run what of the exhaust ducting I have which might still give me a day to cement things in place.

Since I’m up I’ll run the numbers for the 2AM feeding when I get back.

Thank you, again, so very much for exercising my Thought Process Machine, my friend! tup
