Great to be here, I kind of found my way I think to introductions, finally! I’m an old greybeard Massachusetts outdoor grower, and I hope to learn much and share what I can.
Blessings on your harvest.

Wow, think I found the coolest site ever! If I did finally find the correct Introduce yourself thread, and am in the right place, the morning coffee must have helped. Even though I made a couple posts last night, I’ll go again.
I’m an avid outdoor grower, used to do guerilla grows until it became legal in Massachusetts, now I practice my art right on my property. (Sure cut back on the rips)
Thus year was very dry, and I popped my beans in April, the 15th, and am just chopping the last of the late starts down, doing a wash and hanging everything, the busiest time of the year, and one of the most important elements, beginning the curing process. My late starts were ECSD, KushMint, and Superskunk. My Alpha patch this year had Superbud, Putang, Gelato, Waziri, Jack Herer, Grape Stomper, and a few others. Maybe I can find a way to post some pics.
My handle, PioneerValleyOG, was not a Overgrown tag, it’s actually my handle on a few other sites, bean basement, rollitup, and others. I do have grow journals posted on the two sites I listed, with plenty of pics. One thing I don’t like about those sites is I was scolded for even mentioning trading seeds!
I am always learning and sometimes trying new things, a few years ago, for example, I’d of thunk one mad for washing buds. Now, it is a common practice for me.
I hope I can share what knowledge I have, limited as it may be, for I know diddly about indoor growing, however have great respect for those that do. Seems it can get pretty complicated.
Great to be here, thanks for having me, blessings upon your harvest, stay safe out there.

Hey illdub. I wandered in here a year or so ago after taking a decade long break myself. There will definitely be some cobwebs to knock loose, but it all comes back and there are tons of people here routing for your success.

Welcome to everyone else that just wandered in.

Hello.
I’m from a little town in north spain, next to the atlantic.
I was cultivating/breeding for several years, from 2002 to 2009, but in that year I have to destroy all my strains due to a not friendly divorce.
The first time I grow was some seeds from Cabo Verde island (Cape Verde/ Cape Green - I don’t know what the name in english is.) The seeds was obtained from a sailor that came from there.
I can’t remember how they ended, but not very well due to not having any infrastructure at all at that time.
Many years later, I used to grow in one little wardrobe (less than 0,5 m2) and sometimes, another one of around 0,75m2.
The little wardrobe was divided in three zones, one for flowering, one for vegging and another for seeds/clones. The clones with 2x18w FLUO, veg zone with 35w philips CDM-T (sometimes two), and the flowering zone with 1x70w cdmt - sometimes also two, depending on plants needs.
Always on coco substrate. And with that little power, I was very pleased, and if I could find some old photos I’ll post later so you can see that with little spend, great things are possible.
At the moment that I have to destroy all, I was breeding a Thai, and skunk#1 and leda#1, all lost. Sorry for the thai.
Now I’m planning on growing/breeding again, and now I will start with pure landraces, but now changing to LED… and will see how it comes.

I used to smoke when I was very stressed and with few hours to sleep a day, working and studying. That helped me a lot, becouse the 3 to 4 hours sleeped a day this manner was like 8 without weed.

I like the plant, not only for smoke, but also for breeding and experiment.

Well, I’ll be in this forum, but I must tell that I have many open fronts, and will not be as stable/regular user as I may want. I have no many time, and many interests -electronics, computers, in-vitro culture, etc-
Hope we will be reading, and good vibes.

Please, excuse my poor english, I’m Galician.

Hello to you all, yesterday I joined this community. I’m from Brazil, São Paulo state, and had had my first growing experience back to 2014, in that time I made a grow inside an old refrigerator with my own DIY LED board. Now I’m living in another city with my wife and started growing again last year. I don’t like to spend money on seeds and have been breeding my own with some common brickweed seeds, they are really impressive as F1. I hope to get to know someone to share pollens as I can share seeds, because of brazilian laws receiving seeds can end not so well, that’s why I want to breed my own seeds.
