(complete) Temple Flo Co-op preservation seed run

First off just want to say a quick thanks to everyone here at OG. This would not be going down if it weren’t for you. And a special thanks to the coopactiongroup we all appreciate your hard work and time giving back to the community. Now to the topic. I have 26 DJ Short Temple Flo beans in water. Beans donated by @buckaroobonsai. They will soak until morning and we will see who’s sinking. Sinkers will go straight into solo cups in a humidome with seedling mat. I have 5 Flo cuts from the old girl I have for mothers already rooted. They are slow growing. Plan on vegging the seedlings about 2 months or so. Pretty excited to make this seed run. I hope to be able to devote a good deal of time with people commenting on this thread. I do get busy at times and can’t always respond right away but I will do my best. I hope you guys are as stoked as much as me. Cheers Kavman

It’s a good thing when they sink, right?..the seeds I mean. I always do the paper towel setup but I’m trying the cup

Personally I never found it made a difference. It’s really about softening the shell and it doesn’t have to sink to do that IMO.

But if they sink that means water have penertrated so I should just stick them in the dirt or wait for the taproot to show?

I just soak for 24hrs and then into paper towel. It’s just my habit really. Some go straight into medium after soak, some don’t soak at all. Moisture will penetrate during germination.
