So tell me, What do you know about the human microbiome? All input is welcome!

Dang, that’s interesting

Back when EM-1 first hit the market, they were saying its healthy enough to drink. So I did.
My gut hasn’t been right since, and neither has my head.

My father worked in diagnostic medicine.
He said G.E. developed a scan to detect the biofilm from the bacteria on the surface of the brain and that that is the cause of Alzheimer’s. So, the company developed a cure.
That was early 2000’s.
I dont think its hit the market yet, or ever will.

A while back, I was looking into a simple water fountain design, I saw that the waters flowing action was so different to every water fountain I saw before. I had to investigate it.
It goes back to the work of Viktor Schauberger, and water vortex’s.
Over the years, others found, that flowing water could be revitalized, with vortex type moving.
Sounded like bullshit to me, some guy wanting to sell me some bent copper tubes, for stupid money, was just silly…until I started reading about the 4th stage of water. ( I still disbelieve bent copper pipe revitalizes water)
It took me a while to wrap my head around that idea, and found folks have been studying that for decades!
But water does INDEED have 4 stages of it’s physical state, liquid, frozen, steam, and the 4th stage, is a gel substance, in our bodies!
We are 70% water, OK, where are the water vessels located at?
I’ll be damned if I know, we do not, what we have is a * lattic of facia * I posted this brief description.
What is the fascia also known as?
The organs have specialized names for their visceral fasciae. In the brain, they are known as meninges; in the heart they are known as pericardia; in the lungs, they are known as pleurae; and in the abdomen, they are known as peritonea.

We now know, it is a system as vast as our bodies are, from head to soles, that communicates, transmits messages to every part of the body.
I honestly, believe it will become more understood, as right now, it goes straight to hoodoo/bro science category.
I also think this is where neuropathy comes into play. My mother had terrible neuropathy in her legs before she passed away.
I’d ask every one of her many doctors, to help me understand, why they had no idea, where, why, or how it came about.
But the fuckers sure prescribed shit for her, without an conscious at all. Every item they offered her was fucking stupid, worthless, and they goddamn well knew it too. They had NO clue, what it was about in 2009.
So, bone up on the 4th stage of water, and seek out their talks and what not, it’s early into this, so those of us that embrace it, will be called woowooies scientologist, bro science graduates, and many other colorful remarks.
I do not profess to know what it’s all about, but there are 4 stages of water.
Just like the shrieking I heard when I started to use LED 10 or more years ago, by the HID lighting cult.
Anyway, just trying to offer some food for thought, I hope you all find some peace in your ailments!!

We would have ZERO micro dosing information out of Johns Hopkins Hospital if not for the shaman Maria Sabina, in 1957.
No, here in America, we taught people, LSD/mushrooms/, damaged your chromosomes, caused brain tumors, changed your DNA.

I have Dr Yamamoto’s book on water and how it holds energy, in many different forms. It’s molecular structure changes with different emotions and thoughts. We have well water now thankfully, every time I drink city water now, in restaurants or friends houses, I struggle to swallow it, it tastes so chemically and disgusting.

We have 3 natural artisimal springs on our property, back 50 years ago the previous owners used to put the water into milk churns and take it up to town and sell it, its so good.

We have a lake above us a couple of kilometers away, I went up there this summer and sat in it and meditated on peace, love and health for an hour to boost its energy.

Water is not supposed to flow in straight lines with 45 degree bends, doing so destroys its life force energy.

The Fourth Phase of Water by Gerald Pollack has been on my reading list for a while.
I don’t know much about it but I love stuff like this.
My mindset is that there’s always something to learn, even (especially) subjects we think we know everything about. Once biology, chemistry, etc. (basically every field besides physics) embrace quantum mechanics, I feel like ideas like this will become mainstream.

On topic, my mom has MS and has been dealing with a repeating cycle of infection > antibiotics > infection, repeat for the past ~6 months.
Doc’s only advice has been to take a probiotic pill.
Meanwhile her gut flora has been wiped out, weakening her immune system and making her more prone to infection.

Fixing it will take a radical change in diet, but most doctors have no training there & know that the average person wants a pill to fix their issues.

We started the Wahl’s Protocol diet a week ago, which we did several years ago. She’s taken every drug under the sun for MS. The only thing that’s ever improved her health is changing the way she eats.

Immunity starts in the gut.
Crazy to think there are more bacteria cells in our body than there are human cells.

Sorry to hear about your mom, unless your eating a prebiotic food to go with the probiotic supplement your not going to get much help from them, and they will constantly need to be taken as they just starve to death quickly, they need lots of fiber. I eat lots of leeks as it’s a great prebiotic.

There are natural antibiotics that don’t destroy your gut microbiom, I use Buchu powder, it’s a plant that has been used in India for mainly urinary tract infections.

I thought I was getting a problem with my prostate but it took me a while to find out that UTI 's can cause very similar symptoms sometimes, after a week of 2 teaspoons a day the frequent urge to piss has gone from night time and I can get a good 8 hours sleep again.

Hello @Shag hope all is well.
Would like to take you up on your offer to do a little internet research please.
I remember reading at least one study, maybe two, on
Rectal Transmucosal Administration of Cannabis and the results/effect thereof
Most of what I have found centers on intranasal and oral transmucosal routes.

Too much stuff at NIH for me to hande.

Thanks brother, I just can’t handle much more web surfing. What a pain, literally. lol

Sure, happy to help.
Do you have specific questions?
Would you like to read the papers yourself?
I will try to give you both side of the story so you can make an informed decision.

I have heard of folks having good luck with that approach.
Pretty sure it helps with those who can not tolerate the high but need large doses.

This guy may be of interest.
He said the opposite of the hearsay I posted above.

If a high THC cannabis oil gets into the bloodstream, you will have a psychoactive effect, if it does not, there will be no effect. Many people claim they use high THC cannabis without any psychoactive effect, and therefor, I would question if it is being absorbed.

Following are links to two articles showing no rectal absorption of oils:

Dear Allan, Thank you for your valuable input on this matter. We experience the same questions in Belgium. Several patients are experimenting with rectal administration of medicinal cannabis. Most of them do not experience any (psychotropic) effects. We are lead to believe that a placebo-effect is in play, in cases where previously cannabis naive patients started with the rectal administration of THC-rich products (cannabis extract in several different forms of oil) . We will continue to monitor the situation in the field.
Kind regards, Dom

Then we have nano particles.

If you wish to expand on any of this just let me know the direction we should go.
If you have a paper you would like to read but don’t have access to shoot me the title and I will try to find it for ya.

Again I am more than happy to help.
You can see how fast I gathered that bit of info.
We can deep dive once you know where you wanna look.

Peace

Awesome. Will take me a while to go through these articles unlike your
Speedy Gonzalez, “Arriba, Arriba”, quickness in sorting this stuff out. lol

Actually, I was hoping to add some useful information to the

Butt weed is wild.

RSO suppositories have worked wonders for me and although
I totally enjoy the humor, folks seeking answers might want to take this
application seriously.

Fear and desperation can be very effective motivators if not permitted to
sink one into depression.

Great research
Thanks again shag.

My apologies for the inconsiderate jokes. I was totally talking from my personal stand point. When posting all of that i was not considering medical uses in the conversation as i made the post to find a new way to get ripped. Once again my apologies

No worries @seeds2weeds, no offence taken/
We gotta have humor and laughter in our life, they too are great healers.
From my side, you have no need to apologize as I enjoyed your comments.
Very cool to offer apologies when not needed, show you to be a human being with respect,
sensitivity and consideration. Good on ya.

Now if I could just find the right Life Partner to bend me over and do the deed for me…

I was listening to a naturopath on YouTube and he was saying that by eating 30 different plant foods a week you can dramatically increase you gut bio microbiom, not too hard as seeds and nuts as well as spices and herbs count, to get diversity you need to eat a diversity of plants.

From personal experience I would concur plant diversity in the diet is beneficial.
Since my diet consists mainly of Spinach, Swiss Chard, Kale and other leafy greens
with sweet potatoes, I mix up the spices/cuisine flavors. Chinese, Thai, Mexican,
Ethiopian etc. Keeps my spice cabinet full too.

I worked with probiotics for years in RnD and production. In a nutshell this is how it works in the digestive track. The front line of your immune system isn’t really yours, it’s the bacteria. When the system is populated with good bacteria, mostly those that are of the lactobacillus variety, they lower the pH of the system by producing lactic acid. That’s not friendly to pathological bugs like e coli. It makes it difficult for any thing else to colonize as the environment isn’t friendly and the best spots are already occupied. There are some that work particularly well against helicobacter, the one that causes ulcers, by producing a slime that chokes out the ulcer. Others produce some specific antibiotics that can stop infection in it’s tracks. They can also aid in digestion. I was able to reverse lactose intolerance with a very
prolific acidophilus strain, and there are fermentums that can stop a hangover by converting alcohol to acetic acid without creating aldehyde. It’s incredible what these things can do really. Most of the stuff I worked on was for the Asian market, they have been hip to this much longer than the western world. In fact, Kim chi is eaten in Korea like we eat fries and it can fortify the digestive track so your immune to food poisoning when traveling. The most interesting of these imo is Kiefer probiotic granules though. There is over 20 species at work in Kiefer, no one knows who is in charge, but they work together. We used to store these things in the back of a hot factory in an plain plastic tote in a gallon of milk, and it would not spoil. The milk at two months looked and smelled fresh aa the day we bought it.

Interesting research @Cannacryptic.
Thank You.

Having a steady intake of fermented foods definitely helps maintain a healthy gut.
My go to favorites are Miso, Kimchi and Doubanjiang.

Kimchi is relatively easy to make and there are lots of different recipes.
Used cucumbers this year thanks to a good crop.

Agreed.
Usually present at every meal.

Miso is a go to fermented product in Japan and much of Northeast China.

Tempeh works too.

Kefir might have to go on my list.
I try to avoid dairy products, but I’ll see how I react to kefir.
Definitely gut and immune friendly.
