People remember the taste differently but one thing is for sure if you get that Skunk smell you are standing on home plate for a pheno hunt. Most of the skunk varieties I purchased, from multiple sources, never panned out. I didn’t bother to keep the strains around as it wasn’t something I could use.

I have some Haileys Comet seeds I need to pheno hunt one day , it’s a old cali skunk mix more on the sweet side from what I remember

any other strains like that that are easy to get in seed form ?
Just harvested a space cake from bodhi that is all skunk… in fact first person I gave some to thought a skunk sprayed near by. Almost made me sick trimming it.
It’s very very loud. Have another pheno that’s close but not as strong…
I will say this does not have that old school skunk buzz. This is more indica stoney.

Personally all I have is the 1/2 pack I haven’t popped. But anywhere that sells bodhi’s gear should have them… maybe when @Swampthing restocks he’ll have some. If you need to know seed banks hit me up.

I have a few beans handed down labeld original skunk, I also have a decent amount of Haleys Comet x to pre 90s columbian gold and some skunk x to pure Hindu kush I will be working with in the future, hopefully somewhere in there is that skunk spray smell

Greetings Skunk Family. I’m new to the group and so happy to be here at OG. I’m a RKS fanatic. Been on the search for her since 92’ I’m just a humble Rasta contracting in Afghanistan right now supporting our troops and looking for my reward to myself for my sacrifice at having over 9 years in a war zone ( 2 years in Irag as a convoy truck driver and 7 years in Afghanistan as a Military cargo transport specialist) when I return to the states in the form of some official real deal RKS Beans… I’m excited to learn from the vets and elders here in the OG family and want to grow and share the same love and goals to preserve these long lost classic strains especially the RKS we love and cherish.

thats a long time in a war zone m80 i’m sure you’ve seen a lot… i’ve been looking for the RKS myself for a while, @BlackMarketMeds said he had the real deal but has disappeared 
(hope he’s OK) some other guy on another forum said he would hook up cuts and disappeared too… this stuff is very elusive! if i track her down i’ll let u kno… gotta spread the dead skunk so it never disappears again!

…one of my polyhybrids is vegging with skunky stem-rub 
smell but it’s the common, sweeter, under-whelming skunk smell now…
…kinda wondering if there may be 3 main skunks: basic, RKskunk, & the floral/sweet/lower-profile variant? i.e… there may be a skunk terpene compound, and the other 2 are building off of it…said differently, if you strip everything but that 1 hypothetical “skunk” VOC, the 3 are the same?
I do know the 3 experiences… the strongest being from around 1995-97(in my case). My reading tells me that by then the low-profile-don’t-get-me-busted-so-easily-version was already the thing?
